Fashion Trends

You know how they say that fashion is a like a loop and that the trends repeat themselves? Like how the in thing used to be rimless glasses or half framed ones then it went back to the thick ones of days gone by and all of a sudden it's daily disposable lenses.

Well, just happened to catch the last episode of 出路(Stepping Out) just now and for those who don't know, it's some ancient Channel 8 propa show about Singapore's history. Ok, stop giving me that weird look already, the keyword there is happened.

Anyway the period in the show is supposed to be the 1950s and hey, look what this guy's wearing:

And there you have it folks, right from the 50s. Who knows? That obiang thing you just sold to the Rag and Bone man might just be the latest fad of tomorrow.
